Synthetic Rope Semi-closed Tubular Thimble With Master Link For Mooring Lines

The tubular thimbles are much stronger than the standard thimble, and maintains the proper bending radius when connected to hardware, offers much better production for fiber ropes or steel wire ropes.

Master links are normally used U.S. type forged master link or European type welded master link with the working load and breaking load that is fitted into the load data of the whole mooring system.

Tubular thimble with master link is a specialized hardware setup commonly used in the marine and aquaculture industries for secure mooring applications.

    DESCRIPTION:

The dimensions of the thimble must let the fiber rope or steel wire rope fits properly into the groove of the thimble. The tubular thimble can be produced with gusseted or without. The Thimble and Master link has been pre-fabricated together, providing easy handling in splicing.

Rope thimbles serves the same purpose as a regular rope protection hardware. It protects mooring lines from wear, abrasions and deformation by providing a smooth surface for the rope to pass through. Thimbles are usually made of hot dipped galvanized steel to resist corrosion.

The master link is a strong, durable metal ring that connects to the thimble. The master link acts as an attachment point for connecting the mooring line to various anchor points such as chains, hooks or shackles. It provides a reliable and secure connection between the rope and the mooring point.
